I co-founded Triton with Matt Fritzshall in 2016. In my 15 year real estate career I’ve closed over 4,000 units valued over $250 million. My experiences involve urban, suburban, and tertiary Illinois apartment/mixed-use transactions from $500K to $15+ million. Some of these transactions include smaller FHA four flats, larger out of state 400+ unit hotel to apartment conversions, 1031 exchanges, land redevelopment sales, and NNN transactions. My primary focus has always been suburban mid-market apartments although my strong relationships within the industry have drawn me other markets. My clients appreciate my driven nature and ability to solve issues within transactions which lead to successful closings.
I started my real estate career upon graduation from the University of Illinois in 2008 and began working on a top-producing sales team at a national real estate firm. During that time, I analyzed 6,000 units and over $400 million of investment real estate. After six years working with one of the top multifamily teams, I made the move to a smaller local Chicago firm to do brokerage with mid-market apartments for two years. Having worked for a large national real estate firm along with a smaller firm, I took positive attributes of both setting and incorporated them into our more nuanced approach at Triton for our clients and team members.
Outside of the business, I enjoy spending time outside with my wife (Amy), daughter (Luna), and dog (Thor). I try to spend as much time golfing, traveling, and attending sporting events as possible. I am currently a multifamily owner/operator of a handful of buildings on the northside along with properties in Hyde Park.
